Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients. You will monitor patients, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare team members, and provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families
5. Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult times
6. Perform emergency medical procedures as needed
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
8. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
4. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
