Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Clinic
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. The CMA will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, performing various clinical tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient information in medical records
- Administer medications as authorized by providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Provide patient education and instructions as directed by providers
- Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and equipment
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program and certification as a CMA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a medical assistant in a clinic setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic medical procedures and equipment usage
