Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Dialysis team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients with kidney disease who require dialysis treatments. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform dialysis treatments according to physician orders
2. Monitor patient vital signs during dialysis treatments
3. Administer medications as prescribed
4. Educate patients and their families on kidney disease management
5. Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and social workers to provide comprehensive care
6. Document patient care accurately and timely
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing
3. BLS certification
4. Strong clinical assessment skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
