Job title: Laboratory - Med Lab Tech (MLT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Med Lab Tech (MLT) to join our laboratory team. The MLT will be responsible for conducting routine lab tests and analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accuracy and quality control in all lab procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory protocols and procedures, as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform routine lab tests and analyses according to established protocols
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting
- Ensure accuracy and quality control in all lab procedures
- Document and record test results accurately
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Assist in training and supervising other lab technicians
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide accurate and timely test results
- Stay informed of new developments and technologies in the field of medical laboratory testing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
