Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis, you will be responsible for providing care to patients with kidney diseases and those undergoing dialysis treatments. You will monitor patients during dialysis procedures, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patients during dialysis treatments
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health status
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
- Assist with the insertion and removal of dialysis catheters
- Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in nephrology nursing (CNN) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
