Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need of immediate medical attention. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and stabilize patients in critical condition. Your quick thinking and ability to remain calm under pressure will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Triaging patients as they arrive in the Emergency Room
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families during times of crisis
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Room setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
