Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, assessing and triaging patients, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients in the ER setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vitals and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and certification
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Knowledge of emergency care protocols and procedures
