Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYN
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYN will provide compassionate and quality care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. They will work closely with obstetricians and gynecologists to ensure the health and well-being of their patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform assessments on pregnant women and women with gynecological conditions
2. Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs during labor
3. Assist with childbirth and provide support to new mothers
4. Educate patients on prenatal and postnatal care
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
7. Provide emotional support to patients and their families
8. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
9. Respond to emergencies in a calm and timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must have a valid RN license
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
3. Previous experience in OB/GYN nursing is preferred
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Solid clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
7. CPR certification
8. Ability to work well in a team setting
