Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in OB/GYN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring the highest standard of care for women throughout all stages of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' medical conditions during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum
- Assisting physicians with procedures such as childbirth, surgeries, and examinations
- Educating patients on prenatal care, family planning, and women's health issues
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely
- Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) or Women's Health (WHNP) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in obstetrics and gynecology
