Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Infusion Therapy
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion Therapy, you will be responsible for administering medication and fluids through intravenous routes to patients in need of specialized treatment. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans and provide continuous monitoring and support to ensure positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administering medications and fluids intravenously to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
2. Monitoring patients for any adverse reactions or side effects during infusion therapy
3. Educating patients and their families on the importance of infusion therapy and proper home care techniques
4. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed
5. Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in medical records
6. Maintaining a sterile and safe environment during infusion therapy procedures
7. Providing emotional support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Certification in Infusion Therapy preferred
4. Previous experience in infusion therapy or critical care nursing
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
