Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with kidney disease who require regular dialysis treatments. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to monitor and assess patients, administer dialysis treatments, and educate patients and their families about their condition.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients before and after dialysis treatments
2. Administering dialysis treatments using dialysis machines
3. Monitoring patients during dialysis treatments and adjusting treatment parameters as needed
4. Educating patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatments, and self-care techniques
5. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
6. Documenting patient care activities and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
7. Providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
8. Maintaining a clean and safe dialysis environment
9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in a dialysis setting
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
7. Knowledge of dialysis equipment and procedures
8. Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
