📋 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) team. This position is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering comprehensive patient care, managing complex cases, and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care based on physician orders and established care plans

• Monitor, assess, and record vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and wound care as per standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers

• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies

• Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Respond to emergencies and perform critical interventions as needed

🎓 Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications (required or obtained within 90 days)

• 1+ year of Med Surg or acute care experience preferred

• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and multitasking skills

• Proficient with electronic charting systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
