🩺 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Job Description

Position Overview:

We are hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, ensuring patients receive safe, respectful, and effective treatment in a clinical or residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care to patients, including administering medications, dressing wounds, and monitoring vitals

• Assist with daily patient needs such as hygiene, feeding, mobility, and comfort

• Document patient observations, treatments, and responses accurately in health records

• Collaborate with RNs, doctors, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care

• Educate patients and families about basic health practices and post-care instructions

• Respond promptly to patient concerns and emergencies

• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment according to health regulations

• Support infection control procedures and assist with patient admissions/discharges

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LVN or LPN license in the state of practice

• CPR/BLS certification required

• 1+ year of experience in a clinical, long-term care, or hospital setting preferred

• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure environments

Work Schedule:

Full-Time / Part-Time | Day, Evening, or Night Shifts | Weekends/Holidays may apply
