Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Dialysis
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis, you will be responsible for providing care to patients with kidney disease by administering dialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and their families on proper treatment techniques. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer dialysis treatments according to physician's orders
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments
- Educate patients on proper diet, medication management, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current on best practices in dialysis care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures
