We are seeking a highly motivated and certified Athletic Director with a specialization in Sports Medicine to oversee athletic programs, sports medicine services, and injury prevention initiatives. The role combines leadership, program management, and clinical expertise to ensure the health, performance, and success of athletes while maintaining compliance with safety and medical standards.
Provide leadership, supervision, and administration of athletic programs with a focus on sports medicine integration.
Oversee athletic training staff, physical therapists, and sports medicine professionals to ensure optimal athlete care.
Develop and implement policies related to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols.
Coordinate sports medicine services including injury assessment, treatment, and recovery programs.
Manage budgets, equipment procurement, and athletic facility safety standards.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and athletic governing bodies (e.g., NFHS, NCAA, NATA).
Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on health, conditioning, and safety practices.
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and school/university administration to support athlete well-being.
Promote athletic performance through sports science, wellness programs, and strength training initiatives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field.
Certified Athletic Director (CADA) or equivalent certification required.
Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) through NATA preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sports administration, athletic training, or sports medicine leadership.
Strong knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and emergency care.
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
