Technologist – Interventional Radiology (IR)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic and interventional radiology team. The technologist will assist in imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment operation to ensure accurate diagnosis and safe interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate interventional radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound machines.
Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including catheter placements, angiography, and biopsies.
Position patients properly and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
Maintain sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
Document procedure details, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Troubleshoot and maintain IR equipment, ensuring optimal functioning.
Educate patients and families about the procedures, preparation, and post-procedure care.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent) required.
Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.
Knowledge of imaging techniques, radiation safety, and patient care standards.
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
