We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) team. The Cath Lab RN provides specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
Deliver direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures.
Assist cardiologists with procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and other invasive cardiac interventions.
Monitor patients’ cardiac status, hemodynamics, and vital signs throughout procedures.
Administer medications, sedation, and IV therapies under physician guidance.
Respond quickly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, cardiac arrest, or complications.
Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and aftercare.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient care documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the interdisciplinary cardiac care team.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1–2 years of ICU, ER, or Cath Lab experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic support, and critical care nursing.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
