Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations and assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, maintain inventory, and provide excellent customer service in compliance with all regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, and dispensing medications to patients.
Accurately label, count, and record prescriptions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and checking for expired medications.
Process insurance claims, verify patient information, and handle billing issues.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy work area.
Follow all HIPAA, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
Support pharmacists in administrative and clinical tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or state equivalent) required.
1–3 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication terminology.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information responsibly.

Work Environment:

Hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy setting.
May include rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
