Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs during labor
- Administer medication and pain relief as needed
- Assist with labor induction and augmentation
- Support and educate mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of childbirth procedures and best practices
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
