Technologist – Nuclear Medicine
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. This role involves collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information for effective patient management.
Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (e.g., PET, SPECT scans).
Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related diagnostic equipment.
Monitor patient safety and provide clear instructions during imaging procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety and radiation protection protocols.
Assist in quality assurance and equipment maintenance.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret imaging results and improve workflows.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
Current state license (if applicable).
Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory guidelines.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills.
Hospital or outpatient imaging center setting.
Collaborative team of radiologists, technologists, and healthcare professionals.
Full-time, part-time, or per diem roles available.
