Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Stepdown Unit

📋 Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LVN/LPN to join our Stepdown Unit team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort during recovery from critical conditions.

🩹 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.

• Administer prescribed medications and assist with treatments.

• Support patients transitioning from critical care to general care.

• Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and healthcare staff.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.

• Educate patients and families about post-discharge care and recovery.

• Adhere to all hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Valid LVN/LPN license in the state of practice.

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (Stepdown, Telemetry, or Med-Surg preferred).

• BLS/ACLS certification required.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with acute patients.

• Full-time / Part-time / Per diem

• Day and Night shifts available
