Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry

📋 Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit. The ideal candidate will provide safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care to individuals with diverse medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and post-acute recovery support.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to build clinical expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

🩹 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, assessment, and monitoring in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit.

• Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all hospital safety and infection control standards.

• Respond to emergencies and use clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (Med Surg or Telemetry preferred).

• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
