Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (OR) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
The RN will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure patient safety and smooth operation flow in a high-pressure environment.
Prepare and assess patients prior to surgery and verify surgical consent forms.
Assist the surgical team during procedures by maintaining a sterile field and managing surgical instruments.
Monitor patient’s vital signs, anesthesia responses, and overall condition throughout the surgery.
Handle surgical specimens properly and maintain accurate documentation.
Provide post-operative care and patient education in the recovery area.
Ensure adherence to infection control and hospital safety standards.
Support and maintain effective communication among the surgical team members.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or country-specific).
BLS and ACLS certification (required).
Minimum 1–2 years of OR or surgical nursing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterile field maintenance, and surgical procedures.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
