Job Title: Dietitian - Renal
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dietitian specializing in renal nutrition to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of patients with kidney disease and developing tailored diet plans to promote overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments of patients with chronic kidney disease to determine nutritional needs.
2. Develop individualized nutrition plans to support kidney health and manage symptoms of renal disease.
3. Educate patients and their families on dietary guidelines and restrictions related to kidney disease.
4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions and make adjustments as needed.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to renal patients.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in renal nutrition.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required; Master's degree preferred.
2. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification required.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in renal nutrition or a related field.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
