Job Description

🧾 Job Summary:

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing cardiology team. The ideal candidate will provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and non-invasive cardiovascular care to adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, advanced diagnostics, and collaboration with interventional and electrophysiology teams.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments including history, physical exams, and risk factor analysis
Interpret and perform non-invasive tests such as echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, EKGs, and Holter monitoring
Manage chronic and acute cardiac conditions including heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and coronary artery disease
Provide consultative services for inpatients and outpatients
Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, EPs, PCPs, and other specialists
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Participate in rotating on-call schedules (if applicable)
Engage in patient and community education regarding heart health and disease prevention

✅ Qualifications:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Active and unrestricted medical license in [State] or ability to obtain
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

💡 Preferred Skills & Experience:

Expertise in advanced echocardiography and cardiac imaging
Interest in preventive cardiology and lipid management
Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
Experience in teaching or mentoring medical staff is a plus
